Draussenstad präsentiert Busland Interactive-Aufführungen und Workshops für Menschen jeden Alters
Ab dem Wochenende des 5. August 2023 wird „Busland“ zwölf Wochen lang ein Wochenendprogramm mit Aktivitäten veranstalten, die der Öffentlichkeit kostenlos zur Verfügung stehen. Das Programm umfasst eine vielfältige Auswahl an Outdoor- und Indoor-Auftritten lokaler Künstler. Inspiration, Innovation, Erkundung und Abenteuer erwarten Sie bei Busland Interactive!
Jedes Wochenende von 15:00 bis 20:00 Uhr präsentiert Busland akustische Live-Musik, Puppen- und Clownshows, Gedichte, Pantomimen, Straßenshows und lokal produzierte Kurzfilme. Es ist eine Reihe von Workshops geplant, die Unterricht in physischem Theater, Clown, Zirkusfertigkeiten auf niedrigem Niveau, Maskenherstellung, Kunsthandwerk, Stop-Frame-Animation und nachhaltigen Lebenspraktiken umfassen. Draussenstad presents Busland Interactive performances and workshops for people of all ages Beginning the weekend of August 5, 2023, Busland will host a 12-week weekend program of activities free to the public. The program includes a diverse selection of outdoor and indoor performances by local artists. Inspiration, innovation, exploration and adventure await you at Busland Interactive! Every weekend from 3pm to 8pm, Busland presents live acoustic music, puppet and clown shows, poetry, pantomimes, street shows and locally produced short films. A series of workshops are planned that will include classes in physical theatre, clowning, low level circus skills, mask making, crafts, stop frame animation and sustainable living practices. Opening day at Busland features a full afternoon of special performances including Scotty The Blue Bunny, The Ukulele Bandito, Eva un Alfie, Marie Donath – Polirama, Oli and The Portrait Machine, and Peter Mielniczek. Bring your picnic and enjoy the beautiful gardens and fruit trees that make the Villa Kuriosum. A casual Saturday where kids and adults can try out plate spinning, box juggling, ball juggling, slack line and puppet making. The day will be rounded off by a special performance by “The Pyrofessor” Ein lockerer Samstag, an dem Kinder und Erwachsene Tellerdrehen, Boxjonglage, Balljonglage, Slackline und Puppenbau ausprobieren können. Abgerundet wird der Tag durch einen besonderen Auftritt von „The Pyrofessor“

An afternoon of variety, klienkunst, music and comedy featuring Marty Paley (box juggler), James Kingsford Smith (crutch and handstand balancing), Frank Marshall (Clown), Malia Walsh (hula hoops), the Space Commander (Superhero that flies), hosted by our festival mascot Scotty the Blue Bunny. September 9/10, 2023 – “The Day The Clowns Took Over the World” 15:00 to 20:00
A weekend clown invasion featuring Mr. Banana, Dado, Joanna Bassi, Jochen Falck, Jacob Boeno where chaos is the order, or disorder, of they day.
At 18:00 each day, all clowns in Berlin are invited to participate in the “Clown Free For All”. For 30 minutes we invite clowns to take the stage en mass and present bits of 30 seconds to 1 minute in a spontaneous explosion of “step forward now” improvisation. Mayhem guaranteed!
Eine Wochenend-Clown-Invasion mit Mr. Banana, Dado, Joanna Bassi, Jochen Falck und Jacob Boeno, bei der Chaos die Ordnung oder Unordnung des Tages ist. Jeden Tag um 18:00 Uhr sind alle Berliner Clowns zum „Clown Frei Für Alle“ eingeladen. Für 30 Minuten laden wir Clowns ein, massenhaft die Bühne zu betreten und in einer spontanen Explosion der „Schritt vorwärts“-Improvisation Ausschnitte von 30 Sekunden bis 1 Minute zu präsentieren. The Band – Between Balconies
An afternoon of music featuring Between Balconies, Classical/Flamenco Guitarist Lila Smaira and the music comedy stylings of The Ukulele Bandito.
BETWEEN BALCONIES creates a soundscape of blues/folk, jazz and rap. With harmonizing vocals, beatbox and a dozen instruments, they can be heard between balconies and on the streets of Berlin.
The quartet of childhood friends comes from Berlin-Reinickendorf and a small town in Hesse, where they performed together on school stages and youth cafés. They found themselves between lockdowns in a living room in Wilmersdorf and began to fulfill a lifelong dream.
Ein Nachmittag voller Musik mit Between Balconies, der Klassik-/Flamenco-Gitarristin Lila Smaira und den Musik-Comedy-Stilen von The Ukulele Bandito. Between Balconies schafft eine Klanglandschaft aus Blues/Folk, Jazz und Rap. Mit harmonisierendem Gesang, Beatbox und einem Dutzend Instrumenten sind sie zwischen Balkonen und auf den Straßen Berlins zu hören. Das Quartett der Jugendfreunde kommt aus Berlin-Reinickendorf und einer hessischen Kleinstadt, wo sie gemeinsam auf Schulbühnen und Jugendcafés auftraten. Sie fanden sich zwischen den Lockdowns in einem Wohnzimmer in Wilmersdorf wieder und begannen, sich einen Lebenstraum zu erfüllen. A casual Saturday where kids and adults can try out mime, plate spinning, box juggling, ball juggling, slack line and puppet making. A special performance by The Cosmic Garbage Bin and other special guests will be presented at the end of the day! Ein lockerer Samstag, an dem Kinder und Erwachsene Pantomime, Tellerdrehen, Boxjonglage, Balljonglage, Slackline und Puppenbau ausprobieren können. Am Ende des Tages wird ein besonderer Auftritt von The Cosmic Garbage Bin und anderen besonderen Gästen präsentiert!

He needs no language and only a few props to portray the bizarre world of his partly melancholic, partly absurdly clumsy hero on stage.
Trained at the famous Moscow State Circus School, where he learned the basics of the classical style of the Russian cloning school, ALEXEY MIRONOV became the predecessor of the type of clowning that combines traditional clowning techniques with modern theater.
Even as a very young clown, Alexey Mironov was able to demonstrate his comedic talent at numerous international festivals: Circus Festival in Tournai 1992, 18th Worldwide Festival of Circus of Tomorrow in Paris 1995, International Clown Festival in Moscow 2001, 3rd International Variety and Circus Festival in Dresden 2004, Slava’s Polunin “Congress of Fools” in Moscow 2008.
As a talented and promising young clown, he was discovered by the world-famous avant-garde circus Cirque du Soleil and for whose program »Quidam« took part in the North American Tour 1997-1999. Numerous engagements worldwide followed: in the USA and Europe.
Mironov hardly speaks a word on stage. Although there is also a moment when he actually speaks almost every language on earth, in one report. But the language he knows best is that of gestures and body sculpture.
“Bon voyage!” is the end of a story without the beginning or exactly the other way around. Once upon a time there was a small man, and another medium man, and another large man, and another super large man, and another tiny bone man… Mironov doesn’t play with masks, but with our identification cards.

With over 90 minutes of original routines, Space Commander Hotch Chmarzinski (aka DAVID CASSEL), doer of stupid things and protector of the mundane, proves that he is Champion of the Unexpected. He displays a variety of superhuman abilities, sets up a superhero training academy (to set a good public example) and, in an original breath taking finale, shows his audience the actually can fly. His performances are the essence of elegant simplicity incorporating acrobatics, magic, balance, climbing, geometry and a special personable brand of audience interactivity that has come to be his trademark. David has been travelling down the time stream presenting his different shows and ideas to citizens of over 35 countries worldwide. He is the recipient of numerous international awards including European Outdoor Performer of the year at the Rotterdam Straatfestival, Netherlands. He is also a digital designer, film maker and the producer fo the Busland Summer Festival.
Street Performing is a noble time honoured interactive tradition. It has played a central role in community dynamics since the dawn of time. A special bond is formed between an audience member and a performer when money is put in the hat after a show. This weekend we celebrate the Buskers. The weekend is free to attend but if you feel like tipping the performer, go right ahead. Keep cash alive.
In many ways Busking turns capitalism on it head. It is the only form of exchange where the audience member (consumer) is given a chance to recognize the value of what they just witnessed, (the product) and then reach into their pockets and put some cash, whatever they can afford, in the performers hat AFTER they have used the goods.
As the world starts to explore the digital card based economy, we run the risk of forever losing the last untracked democratic transaction that defines our ability to speak directly to each other. Cash never runs out of battery or gets hacked.

Join us for an afternoon of play as we explore juggling, hula hoop, diabolo, twister and many other circus skills and performances by some of Berlins most loved performers. Begleiten Sie uns an einem spielerischen Nachmittag, während wir Jonglieren, Hula Hoop, Diabolo, Twister und viele andere Zirkuskünste und Darbietungen einiger der beliebtesten Künstler Berlins erkunden.

The Busland Summer Festival draws to a close with a party! An action packed weekend of music, comedy, puppets, installation and a celebration of performers and loved ones that have left us. There will be trick or treating for the kids in the cardboard village!

Special music performances will also take place. On Saturday, we will dance to the Synth Pop Stylings of Stephen Paul Taylor.
On Sunday we will close the Busland Summer Festival with two special performances.
At 19:00 Emperor X will take time out of his busy international tour to provide a very special show featuring his special brand of Lo Fi Indie Audio Acrobatics.
Our final show at 20:00 will be by Asraman, A Japanese Electro Funk band.

Das Busland Summer Festival geht mit einer Party zu Ende! Ein actionreiches Wochenende voller Musik, Comedy, Puppen, Installationen und einer Feier der Künstler und geliebten Menschen, die uns verlassen haben. Zwischen all dem Musik- und Performance-Wahnsinn gibt es im Pappdorf Süßes oder Saures für die Kinder!

Es finden auch besondere Musikdarbietungen statt. Am Samstag tanzen wir zu den Synth Pop Stylings von Stephen Paul Taylor. Am Sonntag schließen wir das Busland Summer Festival mit zwei besonderen Aufführungen ab.
