Background

I have owned this bus since 1995 and have slowly rebuilt it as a mobile home.

With the help of Rudi Van Dn Ende in Antwerp Belgium, I have replaced the engine, rebuilt the gear box and differential.  The interior has been refitted so that I an my daughter can live in it while we search for an affordable apartment.

Since the engine was replaced and the vehicle made roadworthy in 2009 it has been driven very little.  It has only clocked a total of 3000 km since the new engine was installed.

Movement and Storage History

2010 to 2016 – driven 1150 km to be stored inside a dry barn in Germany. Untouched for 6 years.

2016 to 2017 – driven 600 km and stored inside a dry barn in Poland.

2017 to 2018  – refitted as mobile home and driven 1150 km  to Mannhiem Germany where it sat stationary for 11 months while we lived in it.  It was driven very little.

2018 to 2020 – driven 625 km to Berlin where it was parked outside at a Wagon village 24 months while we lived in it. Not driven.

2020 to 2021 – driven daily and clocked an additional 600 km.

2021 to 2023 – it sat stationary in an outdoor parking place for 24 while we lived in it during the pandemic.
